Devoted followers of the actress are demanding that a person who leaped a fence and touched the performer during Thursday's Wicked: For Good launch be arrested or expelled from Singapore.

A widely shared footage depicts the Australian man shoving aside media personnel and rushing toward Grande while the performers walked down a promenade flanked by supporters.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo promptly pulled the stunned performer away from Mr Wen, who was observed being led away of the event by security officers.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram recently that he was "released after being detained", though court documents indicated that he was scheduled to appear on Friday morning. It is not clear if he was charged.

Pattern of Event Invasions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Controversial Figure", has disrupted a performance. His Instagram profile contains recordings of him interrupting other celebrity events, including jumping on stage at the pop singer's Sydney concert in recently and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers performance in the same location last December.

"There needs to be action applied against him as this is obviously a legal violation," commented an Instagram user, in a message to a video Mr Wen shared of his actions.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" another Instagram user remarked.

Supporters Voice Worry Over Ariana's Safety

Numerous fans criticized Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had revealed dealing with trauma-related anxiety after a terrorist explosion at the conclusion of her 2017 show in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and wounding many.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" said a further response on Instagram.

Several fans also criticised event staff at the premiere for not being adequately prepared; while different individuals demanded social media platforms to ban Mr Wen's content.

Aftermath and Event Details

In footage circulating online, Grande appeared startled when she was approached by the individual. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed comforting her while Mr Wen was escorted away by guards.

Grande has not commented on the situation, and the rest of the event proceeded as normal.

Many of supporters had gathered in a mass of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good regional premiere in a Singapore mall, including several who had stood in line for as long as eight hours before it started.

The movie, to be released on November 21, is the sequel of a two-film interpretation of the acclaimed theatrical musical Wicked, which centers on the unexpected friendship between two distinct witches.

The production itself is a spin-off of the twentieth-century story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was decked out in a champagne pink sparkling outfit at the premiere while Erivo, who plays the Elphaba, wore a elegant ensemble featuring roses.

They were alongside fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the most successful motion picture of last year in the UK, and earned ten award recognitions, earning a pair for best costume and set decoration.
